Daisy shares her experience with Oshi Health.
How were GI symptoms impacting your quality of life before you found Oshi Health?
Oshi has helped me improve my health—my gut health in particular. For many years, I’ve struggled with digestive issues. I’ve had chronic pain, bloating, and gas that has impacted my ability to be around a social and professional environment. So, I’ve tried multiple remedies, other doctors, and nothing really has seemed to work. I was at the point where I was starting to lose hope in regards to how my stomach or my gut issues would improve.
So, I started to work with with the professionals at Oshi, and began to implement their recommendations. And I learned a few things: the importance of mindfulness and meditation, reducing my stress, and promoting gut health. And I also received personalized nutritional advice that is making me feel better and make healthier choices, and avoid certain foods that Impact my gut health, like gluten, dairy, almonds, things like that.
With the help of my Oshi team, I have seen some improvement in my overall gut health. My digestive issues have reduced quite a bit, and I’m starting to feel better energy and a balanced overall perspective in my gut health. I’m grateful to Oshi Health for providing me with the tools and information to help me start improve my gut health, and I highly recommend the service to anyone who is suffering from gut-related issues.
How has your life changed since working with Oshi?
In terms of how Oshi differed from previous experiences and in-person care, they took the psychological approach, the dietary approach, medical approach, kind of all combined.
My symptoms have improved because I don’t have as much bloating and gas. I’m eliminating or staying away from gluten and dairy, and that’s really helped me. In terms of my quality of life, I’m not as concerned mentally with my stomach. How is my stomach going to react? It’s not as bad; it’s not bloating as much as it used to, so I’m more at ease going out. I do take either lactose or lactaid before going out, or I take glutaise if I am going to have either gluten or dairy, so that’s helped quite a bit. And I’m not in constant pain, so that’s been wonderful.
What would you say to someone who is considering treatment with Oshi?
If you’re thinking of joining Oshi Health, what do you have to lose?
All you’ll have to gain is a little bit more education, help from professionals—not only medical professionals that are focusing just on your initial gut health, but somebody who is a mental health expert that will help with your stress management and a dietitian that will help uh with what you’re eating. And then just a complete picture of how you can improve your health.
