My philosophy of care is rooted in partnership and personalization. I believe that sustainable health changes happen when patients feel heard, understood, and empowered rather than restricted or overwhelmed. Digestive health is deeply personal—what works for one person may not work for another—so I take time to understand each patient's unique symptoms, lifestyle, cultural food preferences, and goals before developing an individualized plan.
Laura Miller is a registered dietitian who specializes in digestive health. She has helped many patients manage conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by creating nutrition plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and lifestyle.
Laura’s approach goes beyond nutrition advice. She looks at the whole person, considering daily routines, stress, relationships, and cultural background. Her goal is to make nutrition education feel empowering, not restrictive. She works closely with patients to discover potential trigger foods, optimize fiber intake, and put practical, evidence-based strategies into action.
She became interested in gastrointestinal (GI) care through her prior work, where she frequently saw people struggling with digestive issues but getting little dietary guidance. Laura aims to fill that gap through patient-centered care that prioritizes quality of life.
Outside of work and time with her family, you’ll often find Laura in the mountains, happiest when she’s skiing or trail running.
