Whole-person care means seeing and treating the individual beyond the diagnosis. It involves understanding how physical symptoms, nutrition, mental health, stress, lifestyle, and social factors all interact and influence digestive health.
Stephanie Rose is a nurse practitioner with deep experience in gastroenterology and hepatology. At Oshi, she’s dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, especially for those living with inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis C, liver disease, and other complex gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. Stephanie believes that effective digestive health care is a partnership between the patient and their care team. She helps patients feel heard, supported, and empowered—focusing on nutrition, lifestyle, and stress management in addition to traditional medical interventions.
With a strong background in hepatitis C evaluation and treatment, patient education, and long-term disease management, Stephanie is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients. She finds meaning in guiding people through the challenges and stigma that can come with GI conditions.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family—her husband, children, and their dog Brutus. She also loves reading, traveling, and volunteering, which allows her to recharge and return to work feeling refreshed and inspired.
