Sameer K. Berry, MD, MBA

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Sameer Berry is a gastroenterologist dedicated to improving patient experiences and outcomes for people living with all types of digestive disorders. As co-founder and chief medical officer at Oshi Health, Dr. Berry has redesigned GI speciality care to close the significant gaps in diagnosis and treatment, and scale access to clinically-proven multidisciplinary care—including often-overlooked dietary and gut-brain support.

An accomplished physician-scientist, Dr. Berry has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. He serves as a principal investigator on randomized-controlled trials and conducts grant-funded research focusing on digital health technologies, integrated care, and alternative payment models in complex subspecialty care. He has a track record of translating his work into real-world impact, leading the development of the first true value-based contracts in gastroenterology with national health plans.

In addition to his roles at Oshi, Dr. Berry holds dual roles as the Director of Healthcare Economics Research and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
