My philosophy of care is rooted in respect, compassion, and partnership. I believe every person deserves individualized, evidence-based support that honors their values. I aim to empower people through education and open communication.

Mary Johnson is a nurse practitioner with years of experience in digestive and hormonal health. At Oshi, she takes the time to understand each patient’s unique story, including how eating habits, stress, sleep, and even bathroom routines affect their well-being.

Mary knows it can feel awkward to talk through certain details, so she works hard to create a safe, judgment-free space where patients can share openly. Her goal is to help each person she works with feel heard, supported, and empowered to take steps toward gastrointestinal (GI) symptom relief.

Before joining Oshi, Mary spent years working as an operating room nurse and in different hospital areas, including the ICU, interventional radiology, hematology/oncology, and endoscopy.

When she’s not working one-on-one with patients, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, and baking sweet treats.
