My goal is to work collaboratively with patients to help them learn new skills and adopt behaviors to support their health. I believe it is important to be flexible and creative to help people make sustainable changes that will lead to long-term relief.

Emily Wyckoff is a clinical psychologist with deep experience in GI health and gut-brain therapies like gut-directed hypnotherapy, biofeedback, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She’s worked with people facing all kinds of digestive challenges, including those with rare conditions.

Emily knows that GI issues are real—not just “in your head”—and that stress management plays a vital role in gut health. At Oshi Health, she uses evidence-based interventions to target and heal the gut-brain connection.

Before joining Oshi, Emily built the first GI-behavioral health program at Hartford Healthcare’s Digestive Health Institute. She has led program initiatives to educate both healthcare teams, patients, and the community about integrated, team-based GI care. Emily has been published in over a dozen peer reviewed publications on health behavior interventions and her research has been selected for several awards.

When she’s not supporting patients, you’ll find Emily in the kitchen or playing with her dogs and toddler.
