There’s no embarrassment in GI care! Whatever you’re worried about that might sound “weird” or “TMI” is likely something we hear every day. Honest details help us tailor the best plan for you.

Brittany Hanson is a family nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in gastroenterology. At Oshi, she works closely with patients to make sure they feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her care approach goes beyond medication, focusing on nutrition, lifestyle, and stress management. Brittany has a special interest in liver health and supporting patients with overlapping digestive issues.

Before joining Oshi, she worked in outpatient gastrointestinal (GI) care, managing people with a wide range of conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. She was also a lead at an IBD infusion clinic, helping patients navigate ongoing treatment.

Brittany was drawn to GI care because the gut connects to nearly every part of the body, shaping how people feel every day. She understands that digestive symptoms can be confusing and isolating, and finds meaning in helping patients find clarity and relief.

Outside of her work with patients, Brittany spends time with her husband and two kids. Together, they love to travel and occasionally run a family 5K. She also enjoys getting creative—whether she’s making pottery or working on a new craft project.
