I believe in taking the time to truly listen to patients—understanding not just their symptoms, but their lifestyle, goals, and emotional impact of their condition.
Breeyen Janas is a nurse pracitioner who specializes in gastroenterology. At Oshi, she supports people living with conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Breeyen believes that quality care means looking beyond symptoms. Your mind, body, and daily habits are part of the bigger gut health picture.
Her approach is all about partnering with patients, working alongside them to understand their experience, and helping them take meaningful steps toward feeling better.
Before joining Oshi, Breeyen cared for patients in both office and inpatient settings. She’s also a clinical adjunct at Georgian Court University, where she shares her knowledge with future clinicians.
Outside of work, Breeyen loves time with family, catching up with friends, and getting lost in a good book. She knows that taking care of herself, through simple self-care and moments of rest, helps her be fully present for her patients.
