Recipe: Tropical Green Smoothie
Whether you’re looking to fuel during busy mornings or after a workout, smoothies are an easy, nutritious option. This smoothie recipe is packed with bananas, pineapple, and spinach, and it’s a great vehicle for protein powder.
This recipe is low FODMAP, gluten-free, and vegetarian.
Makes 2 servings
What you’ll need
- 2 firm bananas
- 1 ½ cups frozen pineapple
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup lactose-free whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Directions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
NOTE: To increase the protein content of this smoothie, add a scoop of your favorite low FODMAP protein powder such as TumLove.
