Value-based care is vital for tailoring patient-specific treatment plans.

Steffani Newland is a dedicated family nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. In her work at Oshi Health, she works closely with patients to uncover the root cause of their gastrointestinal (GI) concerns.

Prior to coming to Oshi, she worked in a rural gastroenterology and hepatology clinic in upstate New York, treating patients with acute and chronic GI and liver conditions. While studying for her nurse practitioner certification, she worked as a registered nurse in a busy endoscopy center performing standard and advanced GI procedures. During this time, she also conducted a research study analyzing the effects of musical therapy on those undergoing conscious sedation.

In her spare time, Steffani loves to travel the country and world with her husband and family. She’s drawn to the outdoors and loves to camp, kayak, boat, ski, and snowmobile. You can often find her exploring in the Adirondacks any time of the year.
