Gut-Brain Specialist

Guylene Velez is a licensed clinical social worker and gut-brain specialist with over a decade of experience. At Oshi Health, Guylene provides evidence-based behavioral interventions to help patients understand and improve their gut-brain connection. Her goal is to alleviate the burden of GI symptoms, empowering individuals to reclaim their daily lives.

Prior to Oshi, Guylene worked in various settings, including community mental health agencies, primary care, specialty care, and telehealth platforms. She also has extensive experience in behavioral health auditing and quality management.

She enjoys spending her free time watching documentaries and listening to podcasts.
