I am passionate about providing care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease while educating and supporting my peers with best practices for all chronic and acute GI disorders.
Christie Morrison is a nurse practitioner who brings over a decade of gastroenterology-specific experience to Oshi Health. At Oshi, she cares for GI patients virtually and manages a team of GI providers. She also works part-time at the Texas Digestive Disease Center in San Antonio, treating patients with irritable bowel disease (IBD).
Christie is deeply involved with her local Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation chapter, where she educates her peers and South Texas IBD patients. Her career includes time providing care in a community hospital and a large military health center. There, she collaborated with Dr. Anish Patel to establish the only IBD center for active-duty military members and their families. She later launched an IBD clinic and chronic care management program in San Antonio.
When she’s not working closely with patients, she’s diving into a good book, breathing new life into old furniture, or hitting the trails for a hike in the mountains.
