Welcome to Oshi Patient Stories, an interview series where we hear from the real people who have found lasting relief from digestive symptoms with Oshi’s virtual gastrointestinal (GI) care. In today’s interview with Danielle, she shares how Oshi helped her finally find real solutions for her IBS-C—from targeted magnesium supplements to gut-brain breathing techniques—after years of frustration with traditional GI providers, and encourages anyone struggling with similar symptoms to reach out.
Danielle shares her experience with Oshi Health.
How did you feel about your GI symptoms before starting care with Oshi?
Before starting care with Oshi, I felt like I was frustrated and had such a hard time getting a straight answer as to what could be the solution for my GI symptoms.
What tips or strategies have you learned while working with Oshi that are helping you live a better life today?
The two most important or most impactful things that have made a difference for me that I learned while working with Oshi, were the incorporation of a specific magnesium to help with my constipation. And also with the gut brain specialist, learning how well that breathing can be to make my GI symptoms better, or I guess you could say less prominent. Those things have really contributed to a better life today for me.
How would you describe your Oshi experience to a friend who’s struggling with similar symptoms?
My experience with Oshi has been really positive. I find that they’re very accessible, even on weekends and evenings through the chat feature, and I feel that, you know, my experience has been positive. I’ve finally found a resolution to my symptoms, which I’ve never had been able to achieve. So I would really encourage anyone who’s struggling with IBS-C, as I have for so many years, to really reach out to Oshi. It’s made a huge difference for me.
