Digestive health isn't always a subject patients feel comfortable talking about, but we GI providers love talking about gut health and all the details of your bowel habits. Don't be shy! GI providers allow a safe space to talk and feel heard. No topic is off the table when it comes to pursuing improved gut health.

Rachel Oliver is a gastrointestinal (GI) nurse practitioner who believes in empowering patients with knowledge about their digestive health. She understands that gut health is key to overall well-being. That’s why she takes a whole-person approach to GI care—looking beyond symptoms to consider diet, stress, and emotional health. At Oshi, she works closely with other GI experts, including gut-brain specialists and registered dietitians, to create tailored care plans that fit patients’ lives.

Before joining Oshi, Rachel worked in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

When she’s not supporting patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, baking, and giving back through volunteering.

Movement is life! I encourage you to go outside and connect with nature. Enjoy a walk with a pet, friend, or loved one. Or head out for a bike ride around the neighborhood. It can be healing for the body, soul, and mind.
