I believe nutrition care should be individualized, realistic, and sustainable—not centered on perfection or shame. My goal is to help patients feel more confident, supported, and empowered in managing their health.
Daniela Novotny is a registered dietitian with a particular passion for gastrointestinal (GI) health. At Oshi, Daniela helps patients make sense of digestive symptoms through compassionate, personalized nutrition care. She believes nutrition should be practical, sustainable, and tailored to each individual—not centered on perfection, restriction, or shame. Her goal is to help patients feel more confident, supported, and empowered as they navigate their digestive health journey.
Daniela’s approach is weight-inclusive and collaborative, focusing on helping patients better understand symptom patterns, build confidence with food, and develop flexible nutrition strategies that fit their values, needs, and daily lives.
Her prior experience spans academia, research, inpatient care, employee wellness, and outpatient nutrition counseling
What she enjoys most about GI care is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ everyday lives. She believes that with the right support and guidance, digestive symptoms often become more manageable, allowing patients to feel more comfortable and in control of their health.
Outside of work, Daniela enjoys spending time with her animals, taking walks, and winning at board games.

Favorite Gut Health Tip
How you eat matters just as much as what you eat. Try slowing down, staying consistent with meals, and creating a calmer eating environment. This can meaningfully support digestion and gut health.
