Sameer K. Berry, MD, MBA

Chief Medical Officer, Gastroenterologist

Dr. Sameer Berry is a gastroenterologist dedicated to improving patient experiences and outcomes for people living with all types of digestive disorders. As co-founder and chief medical officer at Oshi Health, Dr. Berry has redesigned gastrointestinal (GI) speciality care to close the significant gaps in diagnosis and treatment, and to scale access to clinically-proven multidisciplinary care—including often-overlooked dietary and gut-brain support.

Kaitlin Voicechovski

Kaitlin Voicechovski, MS, RD, LDN

Lead Registered Dietitian

Kaitlin is a registered dietitian with more than 10 years of experience in evidence-based diet and nutrition care. At Oshi Health, she provides comprehensive nutrition support to help each of her patients meet their individual goals and increase nourishment as part of a balanced diet. Kaitlin provides tools to help people living with a wide range of digestive symptoms and conditions to feel empowered to navigate food choices with confidence. She employs evidence-based approaches to eating that help individuals best manage their concerns. An expert in a range of dietary approaches to managing gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, she has also completed advanced FODMAP training with Monash University.

Michael Currier

Michael Currier, PA-C

Lead GI Provider

Michael is a gastrointestinal (GI) physician assistant, clinically-trained in gastroenterology at Mass General Hospital in Boston. With more than 14 years of experience, he diagnoses and treats all GI conditions, with a specialty in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis). Prior to joining Oshi Health, Michael helped build the Crohn’s and Colitis Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he served as a patient provider and the Associate Director of Program Development for their multidisciplinary IBD clinic.

Mariah Corneille, PsyD

Lead Gut-Brain Specialist and Clinical Health Psychologist

A licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in medical and health psychology, Mariah Corneille, PsyD, helps people address the mind-body connection to optimize overall health and wellness. Dr. Corneille collaborates across integrated care teams to support patients with intersecting medical and behavioral health concerns, including treating a wide range of GI conditions. She has more than 10 years of experience
working in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings.

Treta Purohit

Treta Purohit, MD

Medical Director & Gastroenterologist

Dr. Treta Purohit is a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist with comprehensive expertise in a range of digestive health issues, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and pancreaticobiliary disorders. In addition to serving as a medical director at Oshi Health, she is active in her private practice in the San Jose Bay Area. As the medical director of San Jose GI since 2019, she has skillfully guided the practice through a significant expansion, growing from four to 12 physicians, incorporating advanced practice providers, and enhancing procedural access.

    We provide clinically-proven, personalized care for all types of GI symptoms and conditions, whether or not you have a diagnosis.

    Your Oshi Health care team will work together with you and your referring provider as needed to collaborate on a coordinated care plan and help you find lasting relief.

  • We manage and treat hundreds of GI conditions—including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), gastritis, and more—as well as chronic symptoms like diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and bloating.

  • You’ll have 12 months of unlimited access to a dedicated team of GI experts, working across specialties to improve your quality of life by treating and managing your symptoms. Your care team may include:

    • GI providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants)
    • Gastroenterologists
    • Registered dietitians
    • Gut-brain specialists

    You’ll also have access to our care coordinators, who can help you navigate your health journey, including medical record retrieval and any external referrals or procedural needs.

    In addition, you’ll have access to the Oshi Health mobile app for virtual visits and unlimited chat messaging with your care team, on-demand appointment scheduling, and personalized care plans, all in one convenient place.

  • Oshi Health is in-network with many health plans, including Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. Visits with your Oshi Health provider(s) will be billed to your insurance, and any copay, deductible, or out-of-pocket cost will depend on the specifics of your plan.
