Insurance and billing
-
Oshi Health is in-network with many major health plans. No insurance or not yet in-network? No problem.
Through our self-pay option, you have unlimited access to Oshi Health for $250 per month.
Please note: Just like other doctors’ offices, if your Oshi Health provider recommends labs, imaging, or other diagnostic tests, additional costs may apply. In those cases, our care coordinators will help you find the most affordable and convenient options.
-
Yes, copays, deductibles, and other costs related to visits or external care services are HSA or FSA eligible for most people. We recommend checking with your FSA/HSA provider for more information and details as to how you can use these funds. And rest assured — we’ll take care of any paperwork you might need to submit to your FSA/HSA provider for coverage.
-
Even if Oshi Health is not yet an in-network provider with your health plan, you may still be able to use your insurance — many health plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network provider visits. Our GI Care Coordination team can handle any invoice or paperwork you might need to submit your Oshi Health provider visits for potential reimbursement. Please contact your health plan for questions or more information, as out-of-network coverage depends on your specific health plan details.
-
Our self-pay option is billed monthly from your first visit. You will receive an email and paper statement to the address on-file when your billing statement(s) is available, which will include information about how to make a payment online or by mail if you prefer.
-
Oshi Health providers may be employed by the following medical entities: Integrated Digestive Partners; Integrated Digestive Partners of NJ; SKB Medical, PC; and Sameer Berry, MD, PC. You may see these names appear on several Oshi Health documents, including billing statements, order forms, and other medical documents.
-
While we’d love to continue to provide you with support, we understand that you may choose to stop participating in the program. If you choose to discontinue, we will only bill for services that have been rendered at the time of notification.

About the providers
-
When you sign up for Oshi Health, you’ll get access to a dedicated team of GI specialists, which may include:
- Gastroenterologists
- GI providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants)
- Registered dietitians
- Gut-brain specialists
Our priority is to address the root cause of your symptoms and improve your quality of life by connecting you to the right providers based on your unique needs.
-
Gastroenterologists are licensed, board-certified doctors with advanced training in the management of GI conditions and symptoms, such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), pancreatitis, and more.
After medical school, gastroenterologists complete a three-year residency in internal medicine, followed by an additional three-year fellowship with specialized training in gastroenterology. Oshi Health gastroenterologists have all completed their fellowship training at a program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
-
Our GI providers include nurse practitioners and physician assistants—licensed professionals with specialized education, training, and experience in GI conditions and symptoms. They deliver high-quality, personalized care under the guidance of a gastroenterologist.
-
Registered dietitians are licensed experts in nutritional care who hold nationally recognized certifications from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and have completed accredited, supervised practice programs. Dietitians work in a variety of settings and practice areas.
Our registered dietitians have specialized education and training in gastroenterology. They provide our patients with tailored dietary and nutrition guidance to optimize digestive health and overall well-being, while keeping symptoms at bay.
-
Our gut-brain specialists are licensed professionals with an advanced degree in psychology or other behavioral health specialties. They have deep knowledge of the science behind the brain-gut connection and are trained in evidence-based therapies—such as gut-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, gut-directed hypnotherapy, mindfulness-based skills, and more—that reduce GI symptoms and enhance well-being.
-
Our care coordinators help you manage the logistics of care while also supporting our clinical providers to ensure coordination. We know that sharing medical history, scheduling appointments, filling out insurance forms, navigating health plan coverage and benefits, and finding local test sites (if needed) can be challenging—so our care coordinators help facilitate these tasks. Care coordinators at Oshi Health also have advanced training to understand the complexities of GI traditional care, including endoscopies, infusions, and more.
