  • About the program

    • Oshi Health is virtual whole-person digestive care from a team of GI providers (nurse practitioners and physician associates, also known as PAs or physician assistants), registered dietitians, and gut-brain specialists. We serve as an extension of your current care team, bringing medical, dietary, and gut-brain treatments together under one virtual roof to provide you with targeted, evidence-based GI care.

Our clinically-proven approach has helped thousands find relief from the full spectrum of GI conditions and symptoms, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, GERD, and many more. With unlimited virtual visits, evening and weekend availability, and live chat support, our GI experts and care coordinators are easily accessible when you need  us—and we’re dedicated to optimizing your treatment and helping you feel better even faster.

    • Oshi Health has partnered with Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants to make our award-winning virtual GI care available to you. As part of our collaboration with Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants, you’ll get unlimited visits with Oshi Health’s GI providers, GI registered dietitians, and gut-brain specialists—in-network with many major health plans.

    • Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants and Oshi Health work together for you—collaborating on your comprehensive care plan to help you find lasting relief.

When you sign up for Oshi Health, you’ll first meet with an Oshi Health GI provider to review your health history and referral details, answer any questions you may have, and build your personalized plan for extended support.

After your initial visit, you’ll get unlimited access to registered dietitians and gut-brain specialists as needed—for nutrition support, tools to address stress-induced GI symptoms, and more.

Throughout your treatment, Oshi coordinates your care and keeps Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants updated every step of the way, so you can focus on feeling better.

    • You can join your virtual visits with Oshi from the comfort of home using your desktop computer or laptop—or from almost anywhere using the Oshi Health mobile app. With evening and weekend appointments available, we make it easy to get seen by a provider within days.

    • After you sign up, you’ll first meet with an Oshi Health GI provider (nurse practitioner or physician associate, also known as a PA or physician assistant) for an initial visit to review your health history and referral details. Following your initial visit, you’ll get access to a dedicated Oshi Health care team, which may include:

      • Registered dietitians
      • Gut-brain specialists
      • GI providers (nurse practitioners and physician associates, also known as PAs or physician assistants) for initial intake visit and questions and support between in-person visits

You’ll also have access to our GI care coordination team, who can help you navigate your health journey, including medical record retrieval, appointment scheduling, and more.

In addition, you’ll have access to the Oshi Health mobile app for virtual visits and unlimited chat messaging with your care team, easy appointment scheduling, and personalized care plans, all in one convenient place.

  • Getting started

    • Oshi Health is currently available to people ages 18 and older.

    • If you have GI symptoms, Oshi can treat you. We manage and treat hundreds of GI conditions—including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), gastritis, and more—as well as chronic symptoms like diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and bloating.

In addition to offering virtual visits during traditional business hours, we offer evening and weekend appointments so you can meet with your care team when it’s convenient for you.

    • Your privacy is our top concern. Our HIPAA-compliant mobile app and systems are fully encrypted to keep your medical information protected, and we engage in regular security checks to ensure our practices are current and effective. We never share individual-level medical information with employers or third-party companies.

  • Insurance and billing

    • Oshi Health is in-network with many health plans, including Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna. Visits with your Oshi Health provider(s) will be billed to your insurance, and any copay, deductible, or out-of-pocket cost will depend on the specifics of your plan. To get a tailored cost estimate based on your plan details, click here to provide your member information, and an Oshi Health enrollment specialist will respond back to you shortly.

    • Yes, copays, deductibles, and other costs related to visits or external care services are HSA or FSA-eligible for most patients. We recommend checking with your FSA/HSA provider for more information and details as to how you can use these funds.

    • If you have out-of-pocket costs based on your specific plan details, you will receive an email and paper statement to the address on file when your billing statement(s) is available, which will include information about how to make a payment online or by mail if you prefer.

    • Oshi Health providers may be employed by the following medical entities: Integrated Digestive Partners; Integrated Digestive Partners of NJ; SKB Medical, PC; and Sameer Berry, MD, PC. You may see these names appear on several Oshi Health documents, including billing statements, order forms, and other medical documents.

    • While we’d love to continue to provide you with support, we understand that you may choose to stop participating in the program. If you choose to discontinue, we will only bill for services that have been rendered at the time of notification.

  • About the providers

    • When you sign up for Oshi Health, you’ll get access to a dedicated team of GI-specialized providers. Your Oshi Health care team may include:

      • Registered dietitians
      • Gut-brain specialists
      • GI providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) for initial intake visit, medication refills, and questions and support between in-person visits

Our priority is ensuring that you are connected to the right providers, with a focus on improving your quality of life and restoring control over your symptoms and digestive health. You can rest assured that Oshi Health and Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants will collaborate closely on your care.

    • GI providers are licensed professionals with specialized training and experience in digestive conditions. At Oshi Health, our advanced practice providers include both physician associates, also known as PAs or physician assistants and nurse practitioners who provide high-quality, personalized care for our patients under the guidance of a gastroenterologist.

    • Registered dietitians are licensed experts in nutritional care with extensive knowledge of gastrointestinal conditions and digestive health. At Oshi Health, our registered dietitians provide tailored dietary guidance to help patients identify any foods that trigger symptoms  and find a sustainable dietary plan that works to keep symptoms under control. Registered dietitians hold nationally recognized certifications from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and have completed accredited, supervised practice programs. The registered dietitians at Oshi Health take this training one step further by undergoing specialized training in gastroenterology.

    • Gut-brain specialists are licensed professionals who study the way the brain and behavior affect gut function and digestive symptoms. Oshi Health gut-brain specialists have an advanced degree in psychology or other behavioral health specialties. Our providers understand the science behind the brain-gut connection and are trained in evidence-based therapies—such as cognitive behavioral therapy, gut-directed hypnotherapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction strategies, and more—that reduce digestive symptoms and enhance well-being.

    • Our care coordinators help patients manage the logistics of care while also supporting our clinical providers to ensure seamless care coordination. They can assist you with sharing medical history, scheduling appointments, filling out insurance forms, navigating health plan coverage and benefits, and are available to provide real-time support via our chat messaging feature in the app.
